Our School
Northbrook Montessori school is a neighborhood school in a home in Bothell for children between the ages of 2.5 and 12. We are American Montessori Early Childhood certified, Licensed by Department of children youth and families WA. We conduct one on one lessons by an MCTE trained lead teacher and provide seasonal organic meals for all children.
Our goal is to create an environment that stimulates growth and learning. We run on the Montessori pedagogy which is a child-centered educational approach. We offer a warm and inviting environment to encourage building friendships, bonding with other children, learning, and curiosity.
Our founder
Savita More has more than 5 years of experience with children, not to mention the 26 years of parenting experience of raising two daughters with the help and support of her husband. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a class A teaching license. Furthermore, she has completed the Montessori curriculum course, on-site training, and internship. She has received the American Montessori Society’s Montessori Early Childhood (3-6) program, which includes pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes along with preschool, certification from Chestnut Montessori School in Bellevue.
In her Bellevue Montessori internship she learned the Montessori philosophy and leadership skills to help young minds be part of a peaceful community. During her 3 years at the Living Montessori Academy, she was showered with love, adoration, and respect from her students and their families. She joined Bellevue Montessori as an activity club teacher where she fell in love with the Montessori didactic materials and decided to learn the Montessori pedagogy.
